Jimmy Bay

Blues-folk vagabond Jimmy Bay has been travelling Australia for the past four years in a beat-up Kombi. In that time this multi-instrumentalist, originally hailing from outback South Australia, has captured audiences far and wide with his honest storytelling style and mesmerising live performances. Utilising guitar, harmonica, banjo and his suitcase kick-drum, Jimmy Bay draws influence from artists such as Charlie Parr, Robert Johnson, Paddy Mchugh, and Shakey Graves. His off-beat character and intuitive songwriting provide a breath of fresh air and realness in the blues-folk scene.
